I am trying to find a permanent full time job in administrative assistant, but every time when I typed their title, it is filled with staffing agencies. So, my question is do I have to go through the staffing agencies just to be a temp before becoming permanent?

Yes, Yes and Yes!!!!! That is the way that smart companines hire new employees. I've been involved with office work for over ten years and this is the way that companies hire new people. It's rare for a company to hire someone based solely on a resume and an interview. The company wants to see if you're a good fit and what quality of work you put out. Sign up with an agency. You may want to tell them you are looking for a permenant position and they will help you achieve that.

You are misreading the staffing ads. Most staffing companies place both temps and permanent placement hires. They often do the background screening on applicants, thus it's financial smart for them to have both types of employment.

Sit down with several agencies and get a feel for what is available in your area. Don't let any of them make you sign a committment to be "exclusive" to them - that will limit your job opportunities. But do understand, they get hundreds of applicants weekly. You'll have to keep in touch and work with them.

Good luck

No, its just that temp agencys specialize in administrative work jobs. Alot of companys use temp agencies to stand in for receptionist who take a day off. Or while they are looking for a perminent assistant they use Temp agencys until they can find an appropriate candidate. You can go directly to the employer and do not have to use a temp agency. Temp agencys just get you in the door.

well I think that many firms and business these days do use different services from staffing firms, but that doesn't mean that the job is always on a temp basis, it could be just a matter of outsourcing human resources, so still check it out. Also you can type other types of job search categories to expand your search and make it work better for you, so type things like office, secretarial, administration, administrative, clerical, executive or administrative assistant and see what you come up to.

If she will't answer those questions then she will locate it no longer ordinary to locate a place given her employment history so a techniques. She may be over-experienced and look 'serious' or she could extremely lack different skills that relate to working in a undeniable ecosystem. She ought to do voluntary paintings on a similar time as using for different positions and get some feedback approximately her actually on the activity overall performance.

no but thats how i got my job, it was temp to perm, meaning a trial basis before they will hire you full time. sometimes having an employment agency is helpful bc they can give u feedback about the position, and help negotiate a higher salary also if u feel like u dont want to stay being temp for three months u can get ur recruiter to encourage them to hire u sooner, try and see, u never know but it def worked for me!
