I am looking for a temporary job in San Diego. I have my education in Graphic Design, but I have great at secretarial skills as well.

I'm currently going through the hiring process for a government job, and I need something to fill the gap inbetween.

Any tips? Any leads? Anything???

I have been on the job hunt in San Diego for months now! My background is in marketing, and it seems not having that graphic design skill set has set me back...so I would imagine finding something shouldn't be too difficult. However, for something quick and that pays surprisingly well, I would recommend focusing on that admin background. There are a number of agencies around town. OnCall Admin has impressed me the most in terms of turnaround and number of availabilities.

As someone else mentioned, register with a few different temp agencies local to you. I wouldn't trust any leads from this or any other message board or chatroom though, just a word to the wise :) Good luck to you and I hope that you get that government job as they can be difficult to obtain.
