Lead prospecting is simply generating leads (or potential customers) for sales people. You may generate these leads in a variety of ways which may include cold-calling, blind emailing, and door-to-door solicitation. Often times, telemarketers do some lead prospecting when they ask you to give the name of your friends who could use the service.

That you have already checked out some people or companies that are interested in buying real estate in this case. Lead prospecting in general is that you have definite sources that will buy the product or service of whatever you are selling.

on a similar time as some human beings experience those words are synonymous, it may desire to be argued that a "prospect" has given you some variety of dedication in terms of time, capability, or interest, while a "lead" has made no dedication. interior the above definition, a lead could desire to become a prospect in the event that they teach interest after an preliminary touch.
