Charlotte has many opportunities! Law Enforcement is always looking for good people, you can try Police Depts. Sheriff Depts., and the The Court System. They need Teachers, Medical Professionals, Emergency services, Child Care Workers, Chefs. Wait Staff, Fast Food Industry, Retail Industry, Office Workers, Public Relations, Etc... Almost anything one could possibly want since it is a FAST growing City, huge place! Just get on-line and check out the Job Source sites such as Monster.com. You may be able to apply on line and have a job waiting for you once you get there! Good Luck Girl!

What do you expect differently in North Carolina? This IS the south!

Charlotte is known as the financial district, whereas Research Triangle Park (Durham) has large corporations i.e. IBM, Cisco Systems and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

I live in NE North Carolina and I use ncesc.com to browse jobs available by county. This is the North Carolina Employment Security Commission site. You can actually sign up for free and click on the jobs you like and submit them to ncesc. They will contact you by mail or phone if you qualify for the job you are interested in. Also try the Charlotte newspaper on-line for opportunities.

Please we can't take it! There are too many of y'all moving here. Just kidding! But like the other person said, Charlotte really is the South.

The best place for you to look for a job is within the banks- Bank of America and Wachovia for starters. I can tell you that I think that career builder is your best bet website for looking for a job.

Best of Luck! HTH

Charlotte is the home of NASCAR. Perhaps you can become a NASCAR driver...or maybe sell t-shirts on Sundays.
